Well I got a call froma very dear friend like by kid sister Renee…OMG..I am geting married..OMG…and I want you to come and shoot the wedding and OMG..can you be the Maid of Honor too…. too? My first instinct was Renee I cannot shoot and be the Maid of Honor too….That is just silly….but then I thought …ya but what a great angle in the maids line up…an angle us photogs never get….my mind starting spinning…yes I can do this..I can be a photog and shoot and tackle and handle being the Maid of Honor…yes i will do it…Well Renee would not let me carry the camera down the “isle” (we were on the top of a mountain at the edge of the cliff so the isle was not your traditional isle) but being the Maid of Honor and the photographer at the wedding was just about the coolest and most fun thing I have ever done at a wedding….When we arrived in Breckenridge and the wedding everyone had been well primed for Hedley and my entrance…We were well loved and everyone had looked at our work yada yada yada….So we kind fo really felt like little LA rock stars arriving in the sleepy Breck town at the top of an 11,000 ft peak…It was magical and majestic…The day was perfect not to mention the Bride had started drinking at about noon……
Renee was so much fun and such a playful Bride…Kicking her heels up all day long and her and Pete so loving with each other…It was the best of the best…Shooting a wedding for someone that you love so much is like a dream for a photographer…It will go down in my career as one of my very very fav weddings….Pete and Renee were so well suited for each other and even though I only met Pete this trip out at his wedding I feel like I have known him for years..What a wonderful man…He owns and operates Breckenridge Snow board shop on main street…ask for pete..and he does fishing in the summertime..Not so bad….
Well with all that said some pics…..
BTW..Hedley and I are never in pics…so I put a few up…..I guess after reviewing them we laughed our way through this wedding!!!

You rocked it on so many levels…and I love you!!!! and Hed too — What a great time and super memories…I wish the day had never ended. I am really so glad you got to be here and said yes to my request of being my Best Girl, as I know you are a “Maid” of Nothing!

Pete was worried we were not going to live up to your expectations of shooting in LA…our sleepy little town, but I think it’s a perfect piece of heaven – - can’t wait to have you come back – -
Also, any bride who has planned a wedding knows that drinking wine at noon is nearly a requirement!
Plus having 100 people at your house with a circus tent to follow definitely qualifies!!! Oh, forgot to mention that putting on my florist hat certainly calls for alcohol…just ask my newly minted floral assistant Pericles, “Pare” to me! and the tent decorators; Nor, Jenn, Kip and Andrea – -
Can’t wait to see the pics of Pete getting “hooked”, literally, to my Mom…as a fly fishing guide I made him a “fly” boutineer…and he hooked my Mom while dancing…everyone said it was a hoot seeing them in the garage with a pair of pliers getting themselves disconnected!
Anyway, we are so blessed and fortunate to have you and Hed in our lives…we are definitely sisters from different mothers and I miss you!

It was such a special, beautiful day, seeing my good girlfriend get hitched! No one could have captured those moments better than both of you!

I’m grateful for this mere glimpse into the beautiful art you’ve both created! And you were right, Cherie, the limo shots are fantastic! Talk about the bride kicking up her heels all day
