We were lucky enough to shoot an amazing Bar Mitzvah at the historic Temple Israel of Hollywood, a Synagogue that has seen many many historic occasions…..Like Elizabeth Taylor marrying Eddie Fisher….Dr. Martin Luther King talking here in the 60’s…..The doors opened in 1926 and so the architecture of this building is very art deco and an historic building in its own right…..The Bar Mitzvah boy Marten did his ceremony perfectly and his 3 other brothers looked on with the proud parents…..The tradition of this rite of passage always amazes me…..The party later on in the day was held at Disney Hall…..Linda Martens mother is an architect so where else in LA would the party be held…..but Disney….Always a joy to shoot there…..As a matter of fact I have to go now…because we are shooting a wedding there later today!!…So here are a few gems from the Bar Mitzvah……

Would love to see more pictures of Marten’s Bar Mitzvah. Our little girl had a ball dancing, and I think you or your fellow photographers took some good ones of her. Thanks. Lisa
