We help design the dayso that it goes smoothly and that the photos that you want are captured in the most beautiful, loving and fun way. We tryfor stress free photography. We after all have shot hundreds of weddings and parties and know the best and most fun and efficient wayto capture award winning shots. It is our responsibility to do that therefore we like to be involved in the process from the beginning. We make the party.

Whether the package is $3000 or $20,000 we strive for award winning shots and know they are at everywedding and party if planned properly.

Cheriefoto is a boutique-style studio who books only a limited amount of weddings per year so that we can deliver the most perfect images for each client.

Cheriefoto has been commissioned in Canada, Russia, The Netherlands, Belize, Germany and France to shoot for private clients photos of their love in life.

Whether it be weddings, architecture, flowers, shoes or their children personal portraits which she makes into large art, female figure photography, body photography, intimate portrait photography, engagement photo poses or simply wedding ideas, some have been made as large as 10 feet x 12 feet for private collections and private collectors. Cheriefoto can be commissioned for any client worldwide.

We get the best equipment we can for the job. We are up, we are down, we are in, we are out. We love what we do. We love that each Bride and each Family are different. We come into the day every time amazed and excited to see what Brides and Families have developed as creative wedding ideas. Award Winning High End Photography:

Being a photographer is about being many things: being a stylist, a technical engineer, psychologist, a Mother, a Father, friend and Comedian. It is about being creative, being relaxed, being on the edge, being inspired and inspirational. It is about being strong, being soft. It is about being the one person in the room that sees how the light is falling on a shoulder, seeing a tear in someone's eye, being in the right place at the right time, when that moment comes. It is about one thing, that we get the shot!

We are a channel through which people can see. We are your ears and your eyes. We are feeling.We are the page in which history is made. This is a very important job. We do 200% and take it very seriously.

We specialize also in the after the wedding "Trash the Dress" photography. This is a shoot we set up for the B&G where after the wedding they get dressed again and we go out and do the things you would not think to do on your wedding day. On this day you do not have to worry about getting the dress dirty etc. It is sometimes where some of the most imaginative photos are born, the most fun and everlasting wedding images are created.

Cherie Steinberg Cote

Cheriefoto began its life as a new California Wedding Photography studios in 2002, when owner and CEO Cherie Steinberg Cote moved her business from Colorado to California.  She is a photographer whose passion has been traveling the world to over 45 countries, photographing people.

Cherie began her photography career as a photojournalist at The Toronto Sun newspaper in Toronto, Canada. She had the distinction of being the first female freelance photographer, where she was also honored with Canada's equivalent of the National Endowment for the Arts Award.

Among the numerous awards Cherie has won, she is a Getty Stock Image Photographer whose works are sold worldwide. 

In her international travels, she has captured extraordinary images which have appeared in countless publications and most recently in:

Hedley Jones

Hedley Jones got his start in photography shooting and printing pictures for a newspaper first in his native Jamaica and then in Toronto, Canada. For more than twenty years he honed his craft by shooting people and architecture for several magazines there. 

In 2001 he re-invented himself as a digital photographer by a devoted study of digital techniques and applications, "shooting digital is really a new medium, a sensor reads the light quite differently than film, so a different understanding of the way you read the exposure is required."  I try to do as much as possible in the camera by careful use of the custom settings"

Hedley Jones joined Cheriefoto in 2003 and is now a partner with Cherie Steinberg Cote and is one of the main shooters with the company. Together they have developed the "Cheriefoto" look. We are for sure "Wedding photographers Los Angeles" to look at.

Along with Cherie & Hedley, Cheriefoto has a team of highly specialized digital photographers and assistants that help in process of capturing award winning shots.
